Microfluidic electrochemical biosensors (MEB)

I am the captain of MEB Team. I joined the SIUC faculty in fall 2015 as an assistant professor. I obtained my PhD from the University of Toronto at Scarborough (2012) and completed postdoctoral fellowship from the University of Toronto, St. George campus in 2015. My current research interest lie at the interfaces of electrochemistry, biosensing, and microfluidics. I enjoy reading books and  spending time with my family.   I am 4th year PhD student in MEB lab. I joined the group in fall 2015.  I obtained my BSc from the University of the Punjab and MSc from the   University of Sargodha, Pakistan. Then I worked in NIBGE and LUMS as a lab engineer &  teaching assistant. Currently, I am working on   fabrication of microfluidic devices using wax and inkjet printing to solve  bioanalytical problems. In spare time, I play badminton and have won   several championships for SIUC.

​I joined the MEB lab in fall 2016 to pursue PhD degree in analytical chemistry.  I obtained BSc degree in 2014 from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. I gained research experience in an agrology lab to develop method for analysis of water, soil and fertilizer. My current research interest is to fabricate wax patterned devices for drug screening application. I like to spend time with friends, cooking, and playing chess.

I am a first year PhD student in MEB lab. I obtained my BSc from Sharif University of Technology, Iran in applied chemistry and MSc from Iran University of Science and Technology in physical chemistry. My master research was focused on investigating electrochemical performance of carbon nanotube electrodes for supercapacitive applications. In my free time, I like to hang out with my friends and have fun.

I am a junior majoring in chemistry and specializing in forensics with minors in both Spanish and forensic science. I am the Vice President of the Sigma Chi Fraternity here at SIU. I am involved as a volunteer in organizations such as For Kids Sake, Special Olympics, and Saluki Startup. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and hanging out with friends.
